Rewind

Rewind is a rage-game platformer where your best ally… is your past self. Record your actions, then let your ghost retrace your exact moves while you move forward, with the help of your former body.  Solve multi-step challenges and outmaneuver hazards. Master the loop.

By the way, if you think a level is unbeatable or broken, just know that it is beatable, your just not trying hard enough.

In case you don't want to look at the Controls menu, use WASD or arrow keys to move, jump and crouch. You can even use the space bar to jump and shift to crouch. Use R to record your movements. For controller controls, look at the Controls menu.

This game was made from scratch in Godot 4, made in 4 days by one 13 year old for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, with the theme of Loop.

If this game wins, I will further improve the game and upload on other platforms.

-----BUGS THAT AREN'T BUGS-----

The Quit button in the Web version just prevents you from pressing anything else, that's out of my control to fix.

The Web version only works properly on computer, not on mobile (unless you have a controller connected)

-----BUGS THAT ARE BUGS-----

The music doesn't loop.

When your ghost is holding down a button, then you press another button, when the ghost comes off the button it was on, its corresponding block stays the same state it was when the button was pressed, until you come off your button. This isn't a game-breaking bug, it just helps you get past some levels easier.
